POD Patches - Lincoln Brewster

The fabled Lincoln Brewster POD patches are one of the most often requested items in the Line 6 community. Here are screenshots of them for those of you who are unable to use Line 6 Edit on your machines!

Don’t feel like sifting through dozens of patches? I’ve created compact patch files that take into account all the commonalities of Lincoln Brewster’s tone and made a small downloadable package with the Gearbox files. Get it from my other page about Lincoln Brewster’s guitar tones.

great patches, is there any L.B. songs that are related to certain patches here?
    thanks

  2. bvesco Says:

I think so. If you look through them there are a few that have names that look like they are song titles.

  3. jim Says:

    cool, thanks

I am new to the Line 6 products and just bought the X3L. I know we can’t use editing software yet with it (coming Feb 2008) and I was wondering what the screen shots are from. Are they from line 6 edit or some other program?

  5. bvesco Says:

The screens are from Line 6 Edit. L6E will not be compatible with X3 but Gearbox (planned for February 29, 2008 release) will be able to open the patches.

  6. Jeff Says:

Thanks for posting these! Any chance you might also be willing to post the specific EQ settings for the patches pictured above? The screen captures only display the settings for the first band.

  7. bvesco Says:

Someone on the Line 6 forums provided the link for downloading these patches. I just put this page up because there were a bunch of people having trouble installing Line 6 Edit and wanted to see the patches. Your best bet if you don’t want to “eyball” the eq settings is to search for the original patches on the Line 6 forums. If you find them, feel free to come back here and post a link so other people can find them too. Sorry I didn’t do that to begin with!

  8. Jeff Says:

Cool. The Lincoln Brewster zip file I found only contained banks 17 and 18, and for the benefit of those viewing this page, they all used the following EQ: LO: Flat; LM: Flat; HM: +3 db @ 750 Hz; HI: -1.8db @ 3K.

If anyone can direct me to a link that contains the remainder of the patches shown on this page, I’d appreciate it!

  9. CJ Says:

  10. Rudy Says:

So far everything Ive seen is in reference to LB’s POD XT Live presets, Id like information/patches regarding the POD X3 Live, which he is currently using.
    Thanx - Rudy H.

His X3L bundle is posted on his site right next to the XTL bundle. Both bundles contain the exact same patches (though some are moved around).
